Welcome home Nick! Elder Callor's plane from Rapid City arrived in the Salt Lake International Airport at 9:54 a.m. on Thursday, July 22. His flight was scheduled to land at 10:12, but was early. We waited for about half an hour for him to walk down the escalator. We all thought maybe we missed him somehow, but his plane was just detained on the tarmak.
He was still bright and cheery after 2 years serving a mission. He served in Minot, SD; Rapid City; SD; Alliance, ND; Mandan, WY; and probably a few others I can't think of right now. If you remember the areas I missed please add them. I am so proud of his obedience and desire to serve the Lord. He really is an amazing, spiritual, and bright guy. Nick has a photographic memory and can explain things very well. He is kind, patient and obedient. I am amazed by my little-big brother. Good job Nick! Congratulations and welcome home!

14 Days to go!!!
Elder Callor returns in two weeks from today! It is so crazy that he only has 14 days to go. Kaycee asked me, "when is Uncle Nick coming home?" She has asked me this same questions for two years now. Every time it is the same answer, "that is toooo long." I thought she would be so excited for my reply this time. In response to, "he comes home in two weeks." Her reply was, "how many days is that?" I responded, "14 days." Thinking she would be all excited. Kaycee's reply was as follows, "no, 14 days. That is forever. Why? That is tooooo long."
Well, Kaycee, it may be long to you but 14 days will come a lot faster than the two years that have flown!

Week 4, Transfer 17
Well, this last week went pretty well! We learned that a person we know is getting baptized in Garden City Kansas. Elder Maurer and Elder Pape had tracted into his older brother, Tony, before I got here. Eventually we were able to get in and start teaching Tony, but the rest of the family was sort of reluctant to listen. Well, a few weeks ago the father and two younger sons travelled to Kansas for work for a few weeks. While there the sister missionaries tracted into them and invited them to church! They went and "had a blast"! The youngest son was the most enthusiastic about the experience.
Well, they came back to Alliance for a week and we kept up the visits and encouragement. Now they have gone again to Kansas, this time for a month, and the sisters invited them to be baptized. The youngest son accepted and will be baptized this coming Sunday!
The news gets better!!! Yesterday we visited the portion of the family that is still in town (only the dad and youngest son are in Kansas right now). Anyway, we discussed the importance of baptism and everyone's concerns, etc. While talking about all this, someone brought up dreams, and pretty quick we were off topic. But out of nowhere Tony (the oldest son, who we first tracted into) started to share a dream he had recently. He told us that in the dream we gave him a tour of the church building, but suddenly entered a great big room with lots of red velvet furniture and sitting in the center of the room was Jesus! What was stranger was that I could picture the room from just those words, and KNEW that it was the Salt Lake Temple Celestial Room! (I've never seen the room before, but the image and knowledge were just there!) Anyway, we pulled out a temple pamphlet and it had a picture of the room, only with white furniture. We handed it to Tony and IT WAS THE SAME ROOM FROM HIS DREAM! He had been feeling the Spirit strongly already, and this was the limit! I invited him to be baptized alongside his little brother on Sunday and he agreed! He was agreeing before I even finished my first sentence! We also invited James (the middle son). He was reluctant to set a date, but did agree to the need to be baptized!
Anyway, THAT was our week! It was awesome. I know that a lot of other things happened, but that was the best part and all that I can really think about right now!
