Week 3, Transfer 17

Wow, another week has just flown by! We have spent most of this week finishing up the preparations for the YMTC. Finally all of the invitations have been created and only a few remain to be handed out! They look VERY professional! I used the same letter format as before, but we were able to print them all out on church letterhead, both Elder Pape and I signed them, and then we put them in church envelopes with either the plastic window to see the address on the letter or else we printed the addresses on the regular church envelopes! It was awesome!
We also talked to the Branch President again about the meal and he said that he'd make sure to take care of it. One of the young women volunteered to spearhead the project for one of her 10-hour projects for Personal Progress. They are all very excited about the activity. Because it involves so many youth and also because it is perhaps the only time that such a large activity has been held in Alliance. For everything else the members here in Alliance have to travel, so they are really pumped to be the ones hosting the activity!

That was the biggest portion of our week. We took a trip to Chadron to make their invites. We rode up with the youth from Alliance (they were going to scout camp in Rapid) and then a family in Chadron volunteered to feed us dinner and give us a ride home too! They are great! The Burch's. Brother Burch served his mission in Japan and has retained most of his Japanese as well!
Love,
Elder Callor
